Well, with 3 out of 4 tater tots at summer camp this week, I am really missing my kids. My youngest is at home with me and he has really been giving me a hard time because he doesn't quite understand why he can't go to camp too. So I've been trying to keep him busy (water parks, library visit, arts and crafts....). He's doing better today, than a few days before when they all left.
With half the kids away, I was feeling that great urge to do some retail therapy again. What do you say? Well, I scored on a Michael Kors handbag and then I saw this bag online and I have to say I'm in love with his bags!
I really love the buttery leather look and feel. It's a great bag! I bought something similar to this, but a smaller version. Move over Coach. But shhh....don't tell my husband! Actually, not the case because he likes to visit my blog when he's at work, so nothing is a secret (ha! ha!).
Besides retail therapy, I've been reading a lot of books. I can read between 4-6 books a day and no wonder I'm exhausted come night time LOL! Actually my mind is spinning with so many stories.
On my next reading list, I really want to read Dick Morris' Fleeced and Sundays at Tiffany's by James Patterson. I'm looking forward to Stephanie Meyer's Breaking Dawn, but you know what...I'm not too excited about it. I haven't pre-ordered and will probably wait a few weeks before getting the book. When Stephanie Meyer's books (Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse) all came out, they were exciting reads, but now it seems to have been over exposed. I read on her website about a Breaking Dawn concert, which I'm sure is going to make lots more money. But overexposed and overkill on the money-making from the book is what rubs me the wrong way. On another book, I read Atonement and REALLY loved it. The author is a great storyteller. If you have any other books to recommend, please feel free to let me know! I'm constantly on the look out for more.
